The same thing happens for any book I try, all bought from the Amazon Kindle store (some with money, others freebies). I've tried to use the Kindle "Cloud Reader" (, and similar URLs for Amazon in other countries) on my chromebook (Samsung Chromebook Pro), and while it initially works fine-I can login to my Amazon account, it correctly shows my Kindle library, etc-clicking on any book just shows a dialog box with an error, telling me (paraphrased) "This book cannot be opened in the Kindle Cloud Reader.
